God’s thoughts for man is: To Reign In Life With Him Forever As god.
God’s thoughts for man has an expected end, to reign with him forever. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord; thoughts of peace and not evil to give you an expected end. Jer: 29-11. To rule the earth with him. Dan: 7-27.
Jesus said in, Rev: 3-21 to him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
The word let’s us know that the promises of God are sure.
2Pet: 3-9 God is not slack concerning his promises, as men fall short all the time. But God is long suffering not willing that any should parish but that all would come to repentance. For he know our frame, he remembereth we are dust. Ps: 103- 14.
Cursed is the man that trusteth in man, but blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord. God said man’s heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked who can know it? Jer: 17, 5, 7, 9.
In Ps: 94, 11-12 The Lord say’s I know the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. But blessed is the man whom the Lord chastenest, and is taught out of God’s law.
There is nothing done on earth that God doesn’t know about, for all things are naked and open to the eyes of him who we have to do. You may get by but nobody get away. Heb: 4-13.
To the readers of this article scripture tells us; God judgeth the righteous, and is angry with the wicked everyday. The righteous are those that live according to his word. Ps: 7-11, 13
Who are the wicked? All that refuses to keep Gods law and this is what he will do;
V-12 if he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow and made it ready.
v- 13 he hath also prepared for him the instruments of death, he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. If God don’t turn and have mercy on man, he is prepared to kill, for he has made ready the instruments of death. This is the same God the world claim love everybody
Jer: 25, 29-33 for I will bring evil on the city which is called by my name, which is Jerusalem, and should ye, be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.
v- 31 A noise shall come even from the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give to them that are wicked to the sword saith the Lord.
v-32 thus saith the Lord of host, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
v- 33 and the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
GOD WANT YOU TO KEEP HIS LAW
Why is God so adamant about keeping his law? Without the law there is no legal authority to judge sin. The law doesn't justify any man in the sight of God, for by it is the knowledge of sin. Rom: 3-20.
The Apostle Paul said I had not known sin but by the law, for I had not known lust, except the law said thou shall not covet, sound like the 10 commandments to me. Rom: 7-7
Here is the problem, if you ask preachers what is the bible definition of sin; almost none have the right answer… Here it is.
1Jn: 3-4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law; for sin is the transgression of the law. This is the bible definition of sin. What law, the Ten Commandments, you can’t do away with them, they are spiritual. Rom: 7, 12, 14.
The Ten Commandments are forever, they are God’s standard for all humanity to live by and obey. This is one of the reasons, God is angry with the nations; Why? They continually break his law and refuse to repent. Ps: 111-7, 10.
Deut:5-29 O
that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and
keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and
with their children for ever!
In Rom: 5-13 for until the law, sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
What does impute mean: in the sense of account. To attribute, impute, put on account. No law, no sin to be accounted for.
Without a law man is free to do as he please, and we have seen in the scriptures mans heart is deceitful and desperately wicked, a disaster on its way to happen. Matt: 15, 19-20.
If you love me keep my commandments, Jn: 14-15, and my commandments are not grievous.
1Jn: 5-3 for this is the love of God that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not grievous. If you expect to have right to the tree of life, and enter in through the gates of the city, New Jerusalem which will be here on earth you must keep Gods commandments.
According to the scripture in Rev:22-14 and other scriptures that agree, this answers the question many Christians ask; Heaven: do men go there when they die. The answer is no!!!
As we observe the churches today not all but many, they have the mentality of the people of old. They want to hear a word that will tickle their ear, something to satisfy their flesh.
Is: 30, 8-11
v- 8 now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book that it may be for a time to come for ever and ever.
v – 9 that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord
v – 10 which say to the seers, see not, and to the prophets, prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits.
v – 11 get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Not many people today want to hear the truth and live by it. Jesus said in Jn: 8-32 and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
Religious people all over the world say they love God and they know God without having any thought of keeping his commandments, only considering the works they have done in his name. How they gave to the poor, fed the hungry and so on. Look what Jesus said about it
Matt: 7, 21-23.
v- 21 not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.
v- 22 many shall say Lord we did this and that and many wonderful works in thy name.
v- 23 and then will I confess unto them, I never new you: depart from me ye that work inequity.
Why didn’t the Lord know them? I’ll tell you why, these people felt no need or obligation to keep the law, the Ten Commandments.
HOW TO KNOW GOD
If you don’t keep the commandments you can’t know God and God refuse to know you. He said those that make these claims are liars and the truth is not in them.
1Jn: 2, 3-4
v- 3 and hereby we do know that we know him if we keep his commandments.
v- 4 he that saith I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Jesus is firm and unmovable when it comes to the commandments. Matt: 15 -7, 9
v- 7 he called them hypocrites.
v- 8 drawing nigh with your mouth but your heart is far from me.
v- 9 in vain they do worship me teaching for doctrine the commandments of men.
There is a way that seemeth right to a man but the end thereof are the ways of death. Prov: 14-12
Now I have shown you in the word what it takes to love God and to know God. The scripture says therefore thou art inexcusable oh man. Rom: 2-1 Will you believe the word or your preacher, your choice? This is what God want man to do;
Matt: 11, 28-30
V -28 come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.;
V -29 take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly at heart: and ye shall find rest for your soul.
V -30 for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. If you will humble yourself and do this, you will be blessed of the Lord.
Listen to the Lord: Prov; 8 6-21:
v- 6 hear for I will speak excellent things and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
v -17 I love them that love me
v -18 riches and honor are with me…..
v -19 my fruit is better than gold….
v -20 I lead in the way of righteousness.….
v -21 that I may cause those that love me to inherit substance and I will fill their treasures.
Finally; God’s thoughts for man is to see every man come to repentance, for he is not willing that any should perish but that all would come to repentance. Then keep his commandments statues and laws. so that at his end he will receive the promise of eternal life, a born-again eternal spirit.
Jn: 10-10 I am come that they might life and that they might have it more abundantly. Where? In his kingdom
Ps: 132, 11-14 God’s desire is to dwell with man on earth. Our part is to prepare and be ready to meet him at his coming whether dead or alive, so we can be with him forever. 1Thess: 4 15-17
